News from the Biospec group.

Double PhD success

Congratulations to Dr Chloe Westley and Dr Abdu Subaihi who were both awarded their PhDs on Thursday 11th May. 

A brilliant result and we wish you all the very best for your futures.

  • Chloe's PhD was on Raman Spectroscopy and its Enhancement Techniques for Direct Monitoring of Biotransformations, and she was funded by the BBSRC.
  • Abdu's PhD was on the Development of Enhanced Raman Scattering for the Analysis of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Compounds in Biofluids, and he was funded by the Saudi Arabia Government.
